Minutes of Brahms Analysis Meeting 30 April 2010
================================================

Present: Michael, Kris, Pawel, JH, Ramiro, Steve, Flemming, Chellis

Agenda:

dAu Figures: Ramiro
===================

He is worried about contamination of the kaons at y=0, 1. (There is a
hump about pt=1.5) He also worried about the 8 degree data for kaons
and protons. He has made RdAu using Kris's pp data. He does the
contamination correction by adding all the settings at 90^o and
fitting by 3 Gaussian's in 1/beta - 1/beta_expected to get correction
factors.

He has constructed RdAu and Rcp ratios and has pushed to as high Pt
as possible. For Rcp he has average pi+ and pi- 0-30% and used a fit
to the peripheral data, 60-80%. Finally he compares our spectra to
Star and PHENIX pi-0. The agreement looks very nice.

He is preparing for a talk in 10 days and will concentrate on PID for
kaons and will carefully check the ratios near the highest Pt. He may
also make the RdA using the sum of pi+ and pi-.

dp - New B2's: Casper
=====================
Casper has redone the B2 ratios with new binning and only taking
deutersona with Pt > 1.5 at both y=0 and y=1.
Todo: >> Create the deuteron PID correction by linearly interpolating
Flemming's factors.

At y=1 the contamination of the dbars is very strong so we shall
ignore these. There was a sense not to give dN/dy since we don't have
low enough Pt coverage.

Todo >>> Casper will make new histogrammes that can be put into the
same plotting package.
