Some recent analysis for the pp 62/200 gev paper: Flemming
d/p draft	Michael Murray

Present: Kris, Flemming, Michael, Steve Chellis, Ramiro Pawel

662GeV pp: Flemming
===================
Flemming has revisited the data at high rapidity. Since the coverage
is not great he has developed a 2 step procedure: Fit rapidity bins
with sufficient low-pt coverage
  then Find y-dep T, or n,T dependent parameters
  finally fix these and fit all available y for Yield. (Effectively
an independent fit at each rapidity.) (Correlation matrix is mainly
diagonal)
The procedure seems quite stable. Kris determined the rapidity
dependent parameters in the final fit. (Kris got T, n from his
favorite spectrum and then did a rapidity dependent fit to T and N
using all spectra).

Kris has compared to Pythia, see
http://cyclotron.tamu.edu/hagel/dndy200_62.pdf.
It does a better job at 200 rather than 62GeV, where it overestimates
the pions at central rapidity. For both energies it gets the protons
wrong.

 >>> Flemming and Kris want to have a draft out by Christmas.

d/p: Michael
============
Michael has rewritten part of the paper dealing with feed-down
corrections. The worst case is B2 at 2TeV where we have a 12%
systematic error. Note that this is significantly smaller than our
statistical errors. Putting bands on the plots would make things very
crowded so we will try to have a figure for the correction and its
error.
Chellis asked are we seeing coalesence of quarks not nucleons. See QM
Star talk on hypernuclei. Michael will think about this.

Todo >>> Casper estimate systematic error by changing lambda/p ratio.
(This depends on errors from PHENIX measurement of lambda's).

AOB:
====
Ramiro was able to compile everything under the new RCF version of
linux. He was not able to submit jobs with Condor. He thinks that it
does not know what RUBY is. Steve says RUBY is not yet installed.
Steve's programs are now working on RCF.
