Minutes of BRAHMS Analysis Meeting 18 September 2009 ==================================================== http://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=68402 Michael, Ramiro, Chellis, Kris, JH, Most of the meeting was devoted to a discussion of Pawel's lovely d/p paper. There was a feeling that their is too much reliance on THERMINATOR in the summary. Ramiro will check the current version into CVS and Flemming will try one more round with this. Both AMPT and THERMINATOR get the general features of p/pi (pt, y) but they do a better job with the pbar/pi. We should also emphasize the last figure. Chellis has looked at Ionut's k/pi paper and Flemming will do some updates before contacting Ionut and sending it out to the collaboration. Selemon is still in shock from the transition to teaching in Tennessee and Michael may have made things worse by asking for dN/dy from the fits to the individual spectra rather than blastwave. There was no news to report on d/p, pp and V2 so the convenors were chastised. However Steve, Michael, Kris and Flemming did all pass their cyber-security training! ===================== Submitted by Michael Murray ======================== _______________________________________________ Brahms-l mailing list Brahms-l_at_lists.bnl.gov https://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-lReceived on Fri Sep 18 2009 - 10:32:44 EDT
