Minutes of BRAHMS Analysis Meeting Friday 19 June 2009
======================================================

Present: JH, Chellis, Flemming, Michael, Selemon and Pawel

Agenda and slides: http://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=62267

09:30 v2 contribution (20') Stephen Sanders (U. Kansas)
09:50 figures for qm proceedings (20')	F.Videbaek
	rough draft with figures.
Main point to discuss choice of figures and request help to get them updated.

10:10 new version of p/pi draft (20')

Steve has been working with Selemon on Hirano's code. He sets T_kin = 160MeV, Selemon said that for the JAM code this value is ignored. He also showed the figures that he would like to put into his QM09 proceedings. He has nice. He will show Hirano's calculations with cascade, Et vs Mass and
v2/nq*E vs KT.

Flemming is showing our stopping plot with the new 62GeV AuAu data and
Fig 2 net protons vs y-ybeam for pp collisions
Fig 3 dN/dy for 200GeV pi, K vs y with Guassian and Wong Landau curves
Fig 4 mean pt vs npart at y=0 and 3
Fig 5: V2 vs Kt for for pi,k,p for 0-25% AuAU
Fig 6: p/pi- vs pt for AuAu and pp
Fig 7: Rdu vs Pt for pi+ and h-
JH would like to have pi- in this.

He is very constrained for space so something might go out.

Pawel: He has put a new version of the paper with two versions of the abstract. He would appriciate our opinions about this. The main change is in Fig 7 and the following discussion so please read this carefully. Note fig 3 is out.

Pawel will extract his proceedings from the paper. He can only show 4 figures, say 1, 2, 5 and 7.

Steve has been working with Selemon on fitting the blast wave to spectra from Hirano's program and then understanding the effect of limiting the fit range to agree with our experimental range. Michael has been working with Casper on the d/p paper. He may be able to come down to CERN next week.
Finally Selemon has a job at Tenessee Technical University.
