Dear M.

I fear that your abstract will be perceived to be a bit ‘empty’

Cheers

    Dear BRAHMS,

I would like to submit the attached file as a "BRAHMS"
abstract. The data upon which it is based have been presented at Strange
Quark Matter. These are published at 200GeV but at 62 GeV they are still
preliminary. The abstract deals with a search for QCD hawking radiation as
proposed by Castorini, Satz and Kharzeev. We seem to contradict this model.

I can well understand that some people might think that such an idea is
nonsense. If people don't want it to be listed as a "BRAHMS" abstract I am
happy to submit it privately. However this work would simply not have been
possible without a lot of help from your guys and I would like to recognize
that.

I am sorry for the late notice but I would welcome your opinion by tomorrow
evening US time. Please cc Flemming

Michael
