Hi, Let me clarified on that, > Pawel suggests modifying >the "spectral object" to reduce the statistical errors. Ramero and FV >disagree. > > > I'm not suggesting to modify any object. We dont use banapp for the analysis. We use the old fashion code with pre and mainloop to do pid and create trees. After that we use software build in principal by Radek - which read trees, apply corrections and create y-pt maps settings by settings and finally merge all settings together. In Radek's stuff we just add one more method that provides different summing procedure for going from single setting maps to final spectrum. I fact we conduct two analysis in parallel and always can compare results. Let me explain the idea which is behind the new procedure next week. Maybe I did something which is not correct?
