Dear Collaborator,

I wont give you the whole stoty, but in short BNL is imposing self punishment in view of a DOE red team investigating of
cybersecurity which showed several flaws, and will close down ALL access to/from the laboratory on Tuesday October 3 for a 'stand-down' At least you guys outside the lab do not have to participate in meeting and endless discussions on this. . There is some hope that user facilities like RCF will remain open but this not been decided/annouched yet. I will hopefully learn more by tomorrow.
Since BNL people will not have e-mail access at least for Tueday, I advise if you want to contact me for BRAHMS purposes please use
my private e-mail fvidebaek at optonline dot net Tuesday until further notice. I will read that bi-daily.
I am sorry for this inconvenience in regard to analysis, but lab management decided on this path, and there is nothing I can do.

regards
    Flemming
