> The Medium Energy Physics Group at the University of New Mexico has openings
> for one or two postdoctoral research positions with primary interest in High
> Energy Spin Physics with the PHENIX experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion
> Collider (RHIC) at BNL. Our group has a history of involvement in
> strangeness nuclear physics and rare K-decays, and therefore we also have
> interest in future experiments at J-PARC in Japan. We have been a leader in
> the Muon Arm subsystem and are contributing to the development of upgrades
> including a new silicon tracker in PHENIX. We have also been involved in the
> development of the RHIC p+C CNI polarimeters and new physics programs within
> the RHIC Spin Program. While our main physics interest is in the Spin
> Physics program at RHIC, the candidates will have some freedom to choose
