Dear Collaborator, I will like to inform you about the status of the QM talk and abstracts. Following deliberations between the institutions, and the speakers bureau it has been agreed that the plenary overview talk (45 min) will be given by Pawel Staszel, in part of recognition of the efforts Pawel and the Krawkow group have made to the exp. Brahms progress, and in part in consideration of previous exposure to people and institutions at QM. I hope the analysis in the coming month will give us solid results that will give good exposure to BRAHMS. Other talks will be determined via the selection of abstracts by the international and local advisory committee. The abstract submitted for consideration from BRAHMS are listed at my RCF web page http://www4.rcf.bnl.gov/~videbaek/brahms/qm05/index.html We will not know for a while what abstracts will be selected. The progress of analysis and goals will be presented and discussed at the June 10 meeting at BNL, the goal is to have outline of talks+content ready be July 1 for evaluation and internal critique (particular physics content) and a final round of presentations preview (in person) at the collaboration in Romania just before QM. I will like to remind you that the deadline for early registration is May 31. best regards, Flemming ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 _______________________________________________ Brahms-l mailing list Brahms-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-lReceived on Mon May 23 19:54:12 2005
