I should convey some information about the DAQ. At present the i/o-server does not go into stopped mode immediately , in particluar, if the rate/dead time is high. After the stop is issued it may take up to 30 sec. for the system to drain,so I: be patient and wait a little while, most likely iit will work. II: only if some red flag/errors show up on the panels should it be nesc. to restart the server. The above 'feature' is has come after the data-flow was re-written to always wait for all events to be written to disk ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 _______________________________________________ Brahms-l mailing list Brahms-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-lReceived on Thu Jan 27 08:00:33 2005
