Dear Colleague,

Let me follow-up on the timetable and plans for the whitepapers to the best of my understanding.
As you have seen all the papers were made publicaly available to the other experiments with a public comment period until about September 15. At a recent meeting with the spokespeople it was agreed to stick as closely as possible to
the original timetable namely postning on the Xarchiv server when a final version ready for submission is ready
and with a target date around October 15 for submission. It was agreed to pursue several journal to see who would
publish the paper jointly after a refereeing process (i.e. not like e.g. a NP conference volume). T.Halman has pursued this and gotten entusiastic answrs from Nucl.Phus and Journal Physics G, and is also contacting Phys reports.
The result of this last contact is being awaited before a final decisions is made. This ought to have happened last week, but is still in process.
Once this is decided we have to finalize the white paper for submission to the proper journal. At the same time
I urge you to take one more careful reading of the paper, and send comments to Jens Jorgen and myself .
If possible we would really like to have the comments by the end of this week.
We have received a few comment from outside people
I have posted these along with the most recent wp at

best regards
