Hi Flemming Looking at the RHIC pages it would appear that PHENIX has had about 220 mub-1 delivered. I recall that the target was (a minimum) of 300 mub-1. Thus at the current rate the target will be reached within the week. I hope that this does not mean that RHIC will start playing with the remaining beam schedule. A remark from Tom Ludlam to me at QM made me a bit unseasy. He said that when Phenix had its guaranteed int. lum. one might switch to 63 GeV. Our BRAHMS program required high luminosity for the important fwd high pt studies - so its seems to me we should be very sure of RHICs intentions as we devlop our own running schedule. What is known about this issue? cheers JJ ____________________________________________________________ Jens Jørgen Gaardhøje, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Sc.
