Dear Brahms collaborators. I want to take the opportunity, now that the 4 BRAHMS speakers have given their (excellent) talks, to thank and congratulate the collaboration and the speakers for all the efforts and the fine results. In my view this QM has been a notable success for BRAHMS. I also base this on the many positive comments I have received from our colleagues in the community. Many speakers have quoted BRAHMS data at high pt and high rapidity and there is no doubt that the forward region is now recognized as an interesting one. The consequences are clear: we should publish the rapidity dep. of the high pt spectra in d+Au, and the 4 pi meson yields right away. So we should finalize these stories in the coming (2) weeks. I assume that the d+Au paper is now submitted: I am confident that it is still timely. The discussion at QM also supports our main priorities for the present Au+Au run: the measurement with high statistics of complete (high pt) spectra at the most forward rapidities (e.g. y=2 and y >=3). best regards JJ ____________________________________________________________ Jens Jørgen Gaardhøje, Assoc.
