Hi,
As Flemming indicated earlier, I have been working on a draft of a
multiplicity paper for
the d+Au run. The draft can now be downloaded from

http://kunuc6.phsx.ukans.edu/~sanders/dndeta03.pdf
or
http://kunuc6.phsx.ukans.edu/~sanders/dndeta03.ps

Alternatively, the tex version with helper files and .eps figures can be
found on rcas in ~sanders/dndeta03

This should be considered a zeroth level draft as members of the
paper committee (Hiro, Trine, and Fouad) have not had a chance
to see and comment yet. Comments from the broader collaboration are
certainly welcomed, but I won't ask for a careful and detailed reading
until after the paper committee gets a chance to rework the
manuscript.

Some notes for the committee:

The uncertainly bands shown in Fig. 3 and 4 are not exactly as indicated
in the text--but they are close. I need to fix this.

Hiro is still working on the BBC backgrounds and so these results may
change somewhat.

I've structured the paper for a PRC Rapid Communication publication.
As such,
I am close to the page limits. My feeling is that if we can get the
paper
submitted in a few weeks time, a rapid communications may be possible.
If it takes considerably longer than this to finalize a submission we
may have
trouble with the announced PHOBOS submission getting in the way.

I have NO knowledge of what might be in the announced PHOBOS paper.
According to Hiro they only showed min-bias results at the DNP meeting.

Regards,
Steve
