Hi, A word about HIJING (answer to Hiro about quantum number conservation): baryonic number -> ok electrical charge -> ok energy/momentum -> ok strangeness -> NOT OK... unless I'm doing something wrong. In the top 5% central, there are about 600 +/- 100 strange particles produced in HIJING. When you sum up the strange quark content, you get Stot = 14+/-14 (gaussian fit). This is not good for an event generator...but I do hope I'm wrong. Someone else should check if it is so.
