So here's the deal: 1) right after the present store we will take the collisions from BRAHMS and PHOBOS, to study the beam conditions with only PHENIX and STAR in the game. This was discussed this morning, but no definite plan was announced 'till now. 2) Rotator commissioning will start at the first beam dump after 7:00 tomorrow morning (thur. May 15th), and will proceed until 8:00 the following morning or until finished, whichever comes first. 3) At 8:00 Friday morning, we will begin the access for the ice-ball chase and other repairs and services. Experiments: If you are going to take advantage of this access, be sure to coordinate with R. Zaharatos or me. As soon as you can, have your IR's swept. The goal is to keep this access at 4 hours. -- Adam Rusek Scheduling Physicist Phone: (631)344-5830 Pager: x3456 .... 4300 .... caller's number -- Flemming Videbaek Brookhaven National Laboratory Physics Department tlf 631-344-4106 fax 631-344-1334 e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov
