As you may have seen good progress has been made over the weekend in datataking. The schdule is still in flux, but at this point it looks like the switch-over for STAR with longitudinal polarisation will take place at Thursday following a short access (4 h) in the morning. I had adjusted the shift schedule accordingly and thanks the people willing to take shifts on short and changing notice. I ask people assigned to shifts in the 24-36 hours following the switchover and commisioning to follow the progress - and as we agree upon if no physics running is likely the shifts are cancelled apart forom the checkouts. The low beta* and high luminosity physics will stop on Wednesday (5/21) where following an access pp2pp will have their dedicate beta*=10 (20) run. It is still unclear if another period (8-10 h) of beam experiments will take place. The summary of what has been achive so far is updated on the summary page. I should also point out that largely to work of Brendan Fox we are (close) to have the spin polarization scalers working well, so the high pt data at 4 deg can also be used for the transverse asymmetry measurements.
