    Hi BRAHMSers.

I'm just about to head for BNL to take my share of shifts, but before I go
I want to present the current status of the analysis I've been doing since
christmas on ratios from pp collisions.

I've written a DRAFT analysis report that you can view here:
    http://www.fys.uio.no/~bjornhs/doc/ppReport.pdf
    http://www.fys.uio.no/~bjornhs/doc/ppReport.ps.gz

I say draft because I don't regard this analysis (or the report) as
finished, but I'm at a stage where I want to show it around and get some
feedback. Please regard this note as a discussion-starter, read it, and
send an email to the list :-) It's probably incomplete and unclear at
points, so just tell me where you would like more info.

For the impatient: I've now, after recently discovering a normalization
error, more or less reproduced what Kris showed at the december coll.
metting. However I still have some issues with the analysis, esp. with the
y=2 points, that need to be checked before I can conclude that Oslo and
Texas are in full agreement. In the report I
    * present my analysis
    * give some details about ny new analysis framework
    * show my results compared to Kris' points and a HIJING simulation

NB: I say in the report that all of my software can be found in
brahms_app/bhs_app. This is true, but it is not the latest version. This
will be checked in as soon as I get to BNL, so wait a couple of days
before you start being masochistic and checking my code. (But please do so
if you want once it's there ;-)

Ping from Oslo, and good reading.
