Dear Betty It is a bit strange to say that I sorry that you are retiring - since I am sure that you'll have a great time in the '3rd' age', as the French say. It is however sad for the rest of us. I would like to thank you for your always cheerful, competent and ready help over the years that we have known each other - which must be getting close to the dozen! You told me that you would still come occasionally to BNL, so I guess this is not a final farewell.
