I have just done the tracking based v_drift calibration for run 7643, and I find that for T1 the results agree with the DVM (extracted from ConditionsDVM) to ~1.5% vd(track)=1.60, vd(DVM)=1.57. For T2, the agreement is better, both are 1.62. With the exception of a couple of runs, it seems that these values are (reasonably) stable. I will check tracking vs. DVM for a few more days to see if they continue to remain the same (there is no reason I can see why they should not) and if they do, then I propose we begin to use the DVM values in the local tracking.
