Hi Peter Here are some comments from a first reading: Overall it looks quite OK. 1. drop: and has been looked for. 2. para 1 line 6 rapidity plateau with uniform particle production, i.e. .. are constant as a function of rapidity. 3.para 2 line 3: define net-baryons. Also refer to PHOBOS results and perhaps to lambda etc. from STAR. 4. para 3 explain PID. 5. p2 line 4 The data are collected at different angle .. 6. line 9. ...from the data by comparing the number of identied track segments in the chamber to the number of reference tracks determined by other detectors not using the chamber under consideration. 7. caption fig 2. 8. p3. line 2 temperature -> effective temperature, inverse lope parameter or something else, but not temperature ! 9. T=T/cosh(y) is not proper notation 10. The CURRENT systematic errors .... 11. section 3. last para. If the anti proton yields... HEAVY and COMPLICATED. REPHRASE. 12. Figure 4: Why not take the figure we have also with AGS values. Perhaps it is easier to read if the curves are plotted in 3 differnt panels (I guess you don't want to use the BRAHMS guessstimate for the net protons...) 13. section 3. AT SPS... the sentense very unclear. REPHRASE 14. summary lat sent. indicating that a RHIC collisions are highly transparent and suggest the onset of a boost invariant like plateau around midrapidity. 15. refs. ref 3: H.ITO, add also ref. to PRLs on mult. ref 7 : these proceedings. REfer also to the QM talks for propaganda! cheers JJ ____________________________________________________________ Jens Jørgen Gaardhøje, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Sc.
