HI, I could not convert the PS file into PDF. An error occured. Has anyone else tried to convert the file? As an aside, I have all the TDC calibration files on disk presently. Tested that your software gives the same result as mine (typically systematically different by 1 part in 2500). My software does not have all the nice stuff for loading the calibration database etc. Maybe someone would like to run the software on the files so the database is loaded with the tdc "gains". I am developing slewing software for TOFW and at somepoint when it is done would like to load it into your calibration modules. Presently, the slewing improves the resolution to about 90ps averaged over the 125 slats, but I think if runs are adjusted for time shifts it can go to about 80ps averaged over the slats. dana ----- Original Message ----- From: "Djamel Ouerdane" <ouerdane@nbi.dk> To: <brahms-l@bnl.gov> Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2002 10:20 AM Subject: calibration and reconstruction guide > Hi all, > > I wrote a preliminary version of a guide where you can find a description > of calibration procedures and software used (all in brat and brahms_app) > as well as a few words on how I reconstruct for physics analysis. > > The file is here: > > http://www.nbi.dk/~ouerdane/cal/calibguide.ps > > This guide is certainly not complete but gives more than an overview on > procedures for calibrations. > > Hope this is useful for speeding up calibrations. > > Ciao > Djam > > > -- > Djamel Ouerdane ------------------------------------------o > | Niels Bohr Institute | Home: | > | Blegdamsvej 17, DK-2100 Ø | Jagtvej 141 2D, | > | Fax: +45 35 32 50 16 | DK-2200 Copenhagen N | > | Tel: +45 35 32 52 69 | +45 35 86 19 74 | > | http://www.nbi.dk/~ouerdane | > | ouerdane@nbi.dk | > o---------------------------------------------------------o >
