For this kind of problem where it is not obvious what the problems are some more information should be noted. e.g. what are background, singles rates (particular ZDC). Were the ZDC HV ok? It might be a problem with the rhic clock e.g. was scaler 1 ~ scaler 4 (coinc w and w/o clock) any other signs of collisions? Thus it is important to investigate if it is our problem or a machine problem. For this kind of problem a late or early call is in order. The approximate half rate we saw yesterday was not scaler 4 (ie. zdc y.b w/o clock and y.b/ Now with machine going of this morning for access it is not so obvious where to go next.
