Dear Jens Jorgen. The status of the DCs is: 1. After correction (by Pawel) of the efficiency code which previosly overestimated the DCs efficiency a new working conditions were found. 2. Recent check of the efficiency (run # 5367) shows for T4 - 80% and for T5 - 82%. 3. A new package for checking the DCs efficiency can be used during data taking. 4. There were no hardware problems (wire breaking, trips) with DCs since August when one anode wire in T3/II was replaced. 5. Jerzy Cibor is in BNL and I asked him to optimize anode HV and thresholds to increase efficiency. Best regards.
