    to make a "pbar" in root, you can:
       tex = new TLatex(0.2,.85,"#bar{p}/p");
       tex->SetTextColor(2);
       tex->SetTextFont(52);
       tex->SetTextSize(0.075);
       tex->SetLineWidth(2);
       tex->Draw();
    
    The numerical arguments to TLatex give the position.
    The rest is to set the properties of the text.
