Status of /afs on the pii's

Folks, Flemming asked me to send out a message about the AFS configuration
on the pii's, so here it goes.

1) General pii configuration (RedHat and kernel version, afs version, etc)
   can be seen on the web at
   http://pii3.brahms.bnl.gov/~olchansk/cluster/config.html,
   also linked from the pii3 main page at http://pii3.brahms.bnl.gov

2) Two varieties of afs are installed: vanilla AFS on RedHat 6.1 systems
   and Arla AFS on RedHat 6.2 and 7.0 systems. All arla clients
   run with a latest-version kernel module that supposedly fixes the
   "xfs panic" errors. If the errors do come back, please report them
   to Betty or me, with a short description of what you were doing
   when you got the error.
