    Dear Friends

Let me express my views on the abstracts for QM.

I think it is too early to make 'coherent' presentations, as Dieter
suggest. The reason for this is that the work is in full progress and
its not even easy to see at this stage how
complete it will be by presentation time.

Thus it think it is fine with a variety of abstracts like the ones we
    see now
(multiplicity of charged particles from Tiles and BB- BNL
identified particles in ratios in FS -NBI
     vertexing in MTPC1 - Oslo
     ZDC and EM - TAMU
ratio of all charged - BNL
TPC performance and analysis - NBI
    ).

I also think that all these abstracts should represent the entire
collaboration, that has made it all possible. The presenter can either
be listed separately at the bottom following the list of all BRAHMS
members, or underlined in the list of authors (which I prefer). Thus I
don't find it reasonable to have 'subgroups' presenting abstracts at
    this stage.

    cheers
    JJ
