Following the Brahms collaboration meeting the Zero Degree Calorimeter
(ZDC) is part of the BRAHMS detector system. An integration meeting for
the ZDC has been scheduled for
Wednesday May 13 at BNL
in room 2-72
Physics Department
1.00 pm - 5.00 pm
The aim of the meeting is to follow-up on the how to integrate the
ZDC into BRAHMS. It is expected that we will discuss the following
subjects.
- mechanical
- Signal, and controls
cable (cable choices, lengths
placement of RHIC control crates
HV controls.
- trigger considerations.
- DAQ considerations
- readout
- scalers etc..
- Software
- Integration into GBRAHMS.
- Analysis modules.
Should there be a need the meeting may continue past this time or the
following day.
