Minutes of BRAHMS analysis meeting 23 July 2010 ======================================== Present: Kris, Selemon, Flemming, JH, Ramiro and Michael Agenda and slides at http://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=102275 Kris went through DSTs very carefully paying attention to dead slats etc and looked a t calibrations etc. He also did a detailed GEANT calculations for the dead slats and has now regenerated spectra. This should make the spectra better but he has not tested things closely. CuCu Selemon He has improved his proton spectra using the cuts on the RICH suggested by Flemming. He also does a correction for the 4-5% of pions and kaons that slip through the RICH veto. His spectra are now quite close to Flemmings although Flemming would like to do a detailed comparison with the 0-10% spectra. The dN/dy difference between Flemming and Selemon is now down to 10%.
