I had a talk with JH on the progress on CuCu. Back in February I did analyze a subset of the CuCu forward data i.e. 4 deg settings for protons (and possible pi+). 1219m1723,2442,3450. The link below point to the spectrum from 0-10% btween 2.95 and 3.13, which I believe is also the range used by Selemon. The blue dots are an analysis by Selemon (I believe with RICH only, no veto mode). This clearly demonstrates good agreement at high pt between these two analysis. The difference is clearly in veto part of the spectrum , which can be resolved. The fit is a fit in mtT, yielding a very reasonable value of <pt>. It would clearly not be described by the blast-wawe fits shown by Selemon. http://www4.rcf.bnl.gov/~videbaek/analysis/auau62/prot_295_315.png Flemming Flemming Videbaek videbaek @ bnl.gov Brookhaven National Lab Physics Department Bldg 510D Upton, NY 11973 phone: 631-344-4106 cell : 631-681-1596 _______________________________________________ Brahms-dev-l mailing list Brahms-dev-l_at_lists.bnl.gov https://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-dev-lReceived on Mon Jun 21 2010 - 11:15:56 EDT
