Hi, The rcf system are about to retire as I mention a number of machines - see note inserted below. The data on the local disk for these machine will of course be lost. So if you have data there that is to be kept please archieve, or move . Note in general terms disk spaace on such machine is usualy never backed up or secure. Machine will be powered down on July 2 as indicated below. regards Flemming Here is the list of machines to be retired in the Linux Farm. These machines are scheduled to be taken off-line on Monday, July 2. They will be removed from their current physical location shortly thereafter to allow enough time for the replacement of network cables (cat5 to cat6) ahead of the arrival of the new Linux Farm machines, whose current ETA is end of July. The systems below will be closed to Condor and LSF on Friday, June 29, to minimize the loss of jobs when they are powered off.
