Dear All, we are running short of disk space on /brahms/data21; in particular /brahms/data21/scratch/ has very large amount of data on the scratch area. I know of course this is a popular space of storing information for analysis, and for presumably temporary files. I like you to review wheteher these in fact are all needed on this kind of long term basis, as I can see form dates. One example, I myslef had stored all the dst+hist files used to evaluate the efficiencies(geant corrections) for set of runs using upwards of 80G. Since the calc had been done i decided to delete all these files, arguing that these can be regenaretad very easikly in less than about 6 hours on the queues. Please use such consideration. Also beware for good order that none of these files are backed up, so you should be prepared to redo files should there be a need. Below is the list of storage, with anyone above 100Gb highligted. 34G aic 7.5G atleq 22G BFlowSData 177G bjornhs 2.6G bramreco 17G canute 1,100G catalin 52G caz 71G debbe 185G ebj 23G efficiency 192K ejkim 2.4G hdahl 127G hito 21G hongyan 177M lystad 1.2M nobu 20M pawel 63G radziu 485G sanders 1.3G svein 3.8G theresa 419G tigist 679M tybn_vic 23M ufstasze 93G videbaek 6.6G voss -------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Bldg 510-D Brookhaven National Laboratory Upton, NY11973 phone: 631-344-4106 cell: 631-681-1596 fax: 631-344-1334 e-mail: videbaek @ bnl gov _______________________________________________ Brahms-dev-l mailing list Brahms-dev-l_at_lists.bnl.gov https://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-dev-lReceived on Sun May 06 2007 - 15:50:32 EDT
