[Brahms-dev-l] OS upgrade to RCRS/RCAS machines

Hello.  This is the reminder of anual OS upgade for RCRS/RCAS machines.  
The upgaded OS will be SL 3.0.5 (not version 4).   The date of this 
upgrade will be probably October 5th (or 6th).  During the upgrade, you 
can not access either RCRS or RCAS machines.  It is very important to 
note that the upgrade will delete all contents in /home disk.  (This is 
the local disk to each machine.  It is neither  NFS mounted disk 
(/brahms/dataXX) nor your home directory (/brahms/u/) ) If you have any 
data/codes to keep, I highly suggest you to copy those files to HPSS.   
After the upgrade, unlike the previous update, you probably don't have 
to recompile your codes at all since the upgrade is very minor.  (It 
seems to be completely binary compartible.  If not, we have to refill 
all afs)  If you have any questions, please let me know.
