Hi

In the last 3-4 days we have manged to fill the new 9 Tb /brahms/data21 file system.
This is a real problem. we had estimated that before the last disk purchase we could keep all of the run 3,4 and 5 data (ltr, gtr, dst) on disk. This does not seem to be the case as things stands now. I think there are a couple of reasons
a) when ned files are genrated, previous versions are not deleted. It is responsibility of
people submitting new jobs to delete older version once the qulaity of new has been confirmed.
b) for some to be determined reason the present gtr's are about 30% latrger than ltr, even though previous there were equal or smaller than before.
c) There are at least 10Tb of data in older analysis, private non-official files data/simulations.Such large non-oficial fraction (30%) was never envisoin.

Please everyone help to remedy this situation.

flemming
