Well This is /was a highly abnormal case. Apparently both the output disk where the gtr was wrritten to, was full , and possibly the bramreco account had run out of userdisk (quota) since there was several large ~500Mb core dump files. A rerun of that same file onto a fresh disk worked just fine . /fv ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hironori Ito" <hito@rcf.rhic.bnl.gov> To: <brahms-dev-l@lists.bnl.gov> Sent: Thursday, May 26, 2005 10:47 PM Subject: [Brahms-dev-l] [Fwd: ALERT: killed process with memory leak] > It is not a good sign when the official reconstruction code has a BIG > memory leak. > > Hiro > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- > _______________________________________________ > Brahms-dev-l mailing list > Brahms-dev-l@lists.bnl.gov > http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-dev-l > _______________________________________________ Brahms-dev-l mailing list Brahms-dev-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-dev-lReceived on Fri May 27 09:03:57 2005
