The new version of OpenSsh (3.9) on rssh03 and rssh04 uses an authentication method that is not supported by older Ssh clients. An ssh client must support the "keyboard-interactive" authentication method in order to interact with the OpenSsh server on rssh03 and rssh04. (Note that clients support keyboard-interactive but do not enable the support by default. For these clients, support can be enable by editing the settings or preferences for authentication.) Users with ssh clients that do not implement keyboard-interactive are urged to upgrade to a newer version of Ssh that implements this authentication method.
