There is uncertainty to what calibrations (apart from those needed for the local tracking tpc's and DC) are in a good shape for the 200 GeV Au data set. Since several people are eager to proceed with analysi at the gtr+dst level in particular the most important ones are those for BB, ZDC and possibly the basic TOF cal namely pedestal, gains to be able to create the matching objects (tof cals are done at the subsequent level). - bb looks at level zero ok,for gains but cannot be good e.g. for 9841 the vtx is offset by -23 cm and has signs of multiple peaks.. - zdc vtx looks reasonable centered and good sigma for vertex.. - Those of you who know specifics please respond, so the status of this can be assessed.Until this is clarified it does not make much sense to forge ahead with grt, and dst regards Flemming ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 _______________________________________________ Brahms-dev-l mailing list Brahms-dev-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-dev-lReceived on Fri Aug 13 15:54:26 2004
