[Brahms-dev-l] RCF OS upgrade

Hello.  This is to remind you that the annual RCF OS upgrade is coming 
(in the end of September or early October).  The choice of OS will be 
Scientific Linux (SL) from Fermi Lab unless there is a sever problem.  
It is basically the same as the RedHat Enterprise (RHE), but it is 
manually built by people at Fermi lab due to RedHat's new $$$ policy.  
To check compatibilities of our softwares, we need to test them. 
Currently, there are two play machines: rplay18 (SL) and rplay28(RHE).  
If you don't want to cry about incompatibilities of our software after 
the upgrade, you should use those machines (or you can build your own 
machines.  You can get SL from 
https://plone.fnal.gov/Plone/Scientific%20Linux/ ) for testing.  
Otherwise, cross your fingers (or whatever you suppose to do in your 
culture in this situation. :) )
