The air conditioning upgrade in the Linux farm has begun. We are currently working to compensate for the loss of cooling that the changeover work has entailed. Nevertheless, monitoring has shown a sharp spike in temperature this morning. Please note that servers on the farm may be shut down on very short notice during this week according to a plan worked out with the experiments' computing liaisons. If the temperature continues to rise, we will begin by shutting down the new DELL servers first (rcas0005, rcas0034-0038, rcas2158-2172, rcas6001-6004, rcrs0011-0012, rcrs0042-0043, rcrs2151-2185, rcrs6004-6211).
