Hello. New machines are available in rcrs and rcas.
They are Intel 3GHz dual Xeon from DELL.

In rcrs: 0011, 0012, 0042, 0043
In rcas: 0005, 0034, 0035, 0036, 0037, 0038

Now, due to the limited LSF licenses, we do not have LSF in every
machines. In rcrs, all machines have LSF. In rcas, new machines do not
have LSF. If you want to send a batch job to those machines, you must
use Condor. (All machines have Condor.) You should be able to find
several instructions in RCF pages.
(http://www.rhic.bnl.gov/RCF/UserInfo/Software/Condor/) . If you need a
sample file to submit a job, see my directory at /home/hito/Flow at
rcas0029 (for brat job) or /brahms/data03/scratch/hito/GeantFlowAuAu200
(for brag job). I have been using Condor for last few weeks and it
works as good as LSF (for me). Give it a try if you want to use new
(faster) machines in rcas. (NOTE: Buying more LSF licenses are not
really options. So, just use Condor or find alternative (better and
free or low cost ) Batch system to recommend to RCF.)

Hiro
