[Brahms-dev-l] serious problem in FFS-TOF1 matching

Hi all,

Remember, 1.5 years ago, a correction on the T2 track direction was
applied. Indeed, one could see that the difference in X with T3 tracks, as
a function of X, got worse as one got closer to one edge of the TPC.

This option is on by default. I struggled half of the day to understand
what was going on: about 1/10 of the FFS tracks could make it to TOF1
according to a standard histogram of the matching module, which I could
not believe at all. I finally saw that the function

BrFfsTrackingModule::UseT2Correction

was enabled by default because it
uses a file name as an argument, which is by default the one in the
brat/share/params directory. To disable this option, you HAVE to write:

BrFfsTrackingModule::UseT2Correction("") in your bratmain script if it's
not yet done.

I implemented that stuff more than 1 year ago, and with some distance, I
think now that it's pure cr...p.

We need to wipe out that stuff asap from brat.

Djam
