[Brahms-dev-l] global tracking script for AuAu

Hi,

Yesterday, Ian launched some global tracking jobs after I had finished
some BB calibrations. I started checking the histogram files and found
that their size was big. A quick investigation showed me that some ntuples
were in there. I then wanted to check the bratmain script used for the
job. Today, I checked this script in greater details and I saw very odd
things. Apparently, it was an old script used for pp and dAu with some
"funny" settings, e.g. if the run number was > than 7000, then the
tracking offsets were not taken into account for global tracking... The DC
enhancement setup, which I thought was now a default and hidden in the
strandard tracking modules, looked like in the old days when Pawel was
debugging this option... And the weirdest thing was the fiducial cut
options...hardcoded numbers everywhere, numbers from command line options
divided by 10 (why ??)

So my question is: is there an official AuAu global tracking script ? If
not, I'm gonna set one up, similar to the one I used in 2001-2002. For
that, I'd like to see the latest official script (dAu I guess) and look at
the standard options for e.g. BFS tracking and tracking offsets.

This makes me think of an old discussion that I had with Flemming: these
tracking offset files were good but we had started (in 2002) to set up
tables in our sql DB. I know that these offsets will certainly change as
we improve calibrations and other things but on the other hand, it's not
the first time we commit better calibration revisions on top of older
ones. Do we want to finish setting up the DB for matching offsets ? Ascii
files were always a pain in the ...

Please react if you know of official global tracking scripts!

Djam
