Hi I spend a considerable amount of time today to 'save' the ~250k events that were 'lost' in the run11466 as told in shift report. (Ramiro owes me at least one drink by now The files are now in HPSS and available for analysis. A program rawscan.exe was written to extract the needed information to store in the RUNDB. I had Hiro help with changing the particular run to be marked as in HPSS. At the same time a lots of old runs from 7500 to 11300 had a sinbgle a sequence file restores into HPSS all together ~ 20 Gb worth of data and ~1 M events restored to HPSS> Most of these were lost because the io_server died during the run.I am not sure if this is usefull- lots of these are from last years d-Au run and only if local tracking is redone will one gain statistics. A list of files restored. can be see in the logfile ~opus/oncs/utils/SavedFiles.txt for further details. regards Flemming ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flemming Videbaek Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov phone: 631-344-4106 _______________________________________________ Brahms-dev-l mailing list Brahms-dev-l@lists.bnl.gov http://lists.bnl.gov/mailman/listinfo/brahms-dev-lReceived on Wed Mar 31 20:17:49 2004
