Dear Zhangbao,

On a multi-decade plots this certainly looks good, But without some details
from your analysi it is very difficult
to judge if this is good enpough for a RAu ratio. As you know Ramiro has
also analysied these data are there seem to
be significant differences, maybe a factor 2, at higher pt, while at lower
they are much closer ?

Since you will be presenting this at QM the collaboration needs to see some
details/documentation on top of the ppt
that I saw at the coll meeting maybe you have a web page that can help us
all. Some questions

- what set of runs have you been using ? ( pp..) (give list of run no's)
- what vertex do you use when picking an acceptance map. Is it done with
standard 5 cm bins.
how good is the matching vs data.
- what vertex range (inel, and/or track vertex do you pick).
- the ratio between pions and h- jumps by a large amount at pt~1. Is this
beacuse of different run or due to
change in PID. It does not look physical but experimental.
- what effecinecies are you using (tracking, PID...)
- your statistcis seems off hand much better than Ramiro's selected runs- we
should compare this.
- what 'version of dst are in use. This is important due to the different
inel calibrations in use.

cheers
    Flemming
