Hi dev'ils. The promised version 06 global tracking and dst pass is done. I've made some prelim. checks that look mostly OK, but of course I can't promise that I got everything right. Please look through the files and let me know if there are any problems (and maybe also if there aren't - that's also good to know ;-) The files are here: /brahms/data07/data/run03/[dau,pp]/200/rXXXX/[gtr,dst]*v06.root (i.e. everything in the official place this time, no more scratch'ing) For a sample of the data quality, look at the attatched gif file. It shows pid plots for TOFW, H1, H2, C1 and RICH for run 8418, wich is a 90deg 1050 + 4deg 3450 run. Comments: * TOFW looks just as good as Hiro advertised last week ;-) * C1 and RICH look fine * H1 and H2 have a strange band above 1 - I'm guessing that this is related to either background that I haven't removed or simply a bad calibration. So: Over the next week I hope we can get a decent set of TOFW, H1 and H2 calibs done. As I've said many times we can do a lot of this from this side of the Atlantic, but I'd like to know who else might be working on this. * First of all, is there any reason now to delay doing TOF calibs? * I know Zhongbao started doing some TOFW stuff this morning - Hiro, are you also looking at TOFW? * Has anyone else looked at H1 and H2? If not I, Svein and Trine will get started on that. Goal: A version 07 during next weekend, that includes * new ltr files with Pawels new calibrations * new gtr files based on that * new dsts with good calibrations for all the base PID systems Ping :-) -- Bjorn H.
