RCF2, the main interactive Solaris server, will
be upgraded at 9:00AM EDT on Monday Oct 20. The
operating system will be upgraded to Solaris 9
and all applications in /usr/local/bin will be
upgraded.

Note that the legacy IMAP server on the system
will be upgraded to accept either NIS/Unix
or Kerberos 5 passwords. This change is in
preparation for the eventual elimination of
NIS/Unix passwords.

Warning: The RCF strongly recommends that users
of the rcf2 IMAP server move to the IMAP server
on dedicated, standalone rcf.rhic.bnl.gov system.
This latter system is the official, production
IMAP server for the RCF.
