The update to RH 8 at RCF will proceed. As mentioned before ALL stuff on the local disks
i.e.  /home/.. will be gone; since they have to be reformatted, due to the need for a larger root partition. This is also a reminder that such storage is sucj one should always be ready to accept the risk of loosing it.
The schedule is given below. The first part Monday is firm. It is also important Mon/tu to check there are no show stoppers, missing software. The essentials of our code/software works
i.e. has been tested on rplay10..
