Hi, I've started the process of updating the ZDC software so that we can use the adc measurements in the analysis. The idea is to be able to tag pAu events in the dAu data (by measuring the neutron in the right zdc) and being able to make centrality determination for more peripheral events in the next AuAu run. The adc calibration is done by matching the muon responses obtained by cosmic ray measurements. I've thought about making a BrZdcAdcGainModule to make a final calibration that matches the sum of the three signals to the one neutron peak, but maybe this is a bit too much. So just to get started I've made a small BRATROOT script that can update the adc calibrations to the db. It's called CommitAdcGain.C and is now in brat (in scripts/calib/zdc). The next step is to update the Rdo module to do the gain calibration and pass on the data. I will do this as soon as I have committed all the calibrations to the db. Cheers, Claus PS: I've noted a mistake in the Calibration revision test homepage. If I ask for the revision of the left zdc I get a summary of the right zdc revisions and vice versa. I checked the source of the homepage and found these two lines: <td width=100 CLASS="DETBOX"><input type="checkbox" name="ZDCLeft" value="on"> <b> ZDC Right</b></td> <td width=100 CLASS="DETBOX"><input type="checkbox" name="ZDCRight" value="on"> <b> ZDC Left</b></td> Who can fix this? +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Claus E.
