    Hi,
A fresh cvs checkout of brag on rcas no longer builds.
My guess is that the environment variables defined in
    /brahms/u/brahmlib/etc/brahms.login,
which I have been using, are no longer correct, but
I'm not sure how to get things set correctly.

The brahms.login script defines 2002 for the cernlib, which
requires libshift (I think...) . The new brag automake explicitly turns
this off. I've tried changing my environment variable to use
2003, but then I get an error that GCC_3.0 is not found.

What is the "best" way of handling this? At the moment I'll go
back and hand edit my acinclude.m4 file, but this seems
    awkward...

    ....steve
