I just checked, and LSF_ENVDIR is set to /usr/local/lsf/mnt/conf And, this is from the bramreco account. I checked the .cshrc and it is NOT set there. Where, then, could it be...? It does not seem to be in any files that I can find. -Ian On torsdag, jul 17, 2003, at 16:25 Europe/Copenhagen, Flemming Videbaek wrote: > Hi > > This is properly related to the switchover to lSF 5.1 an dthe > environment varaibel LSF_ENVDIR > which should NOT be set (you can probably find this in an old message). > The standard brahmslogin should not have this anymore- on the other > hand the bramreco account > had it set in the .cshrc file - I deleted this line - was this the > account you were using ? > > Flemming > > > ------------------------------------------------------ > Flemming Videbaek > Physics Department > Brookhaven National Laboratory > > tlf: 631-344-4106 > fax 631-344-1334 > e-mail: videbaek@bnl.gov > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Ian Bearden" <bearden@nbi.dk> > To: <brahms-dev-l@bnl.gov> > Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2003 9:46 AM > Subject: bsub problems > > > | Hi, > | I am trying to submit some jobs via bsub, but get the message: > | lsb_init: Failed in an LSF library call: Unable to open file lsf.conf > | This happens on both rcas0014 and rcas0022 (haven't tried others), > | and I get this message even with something simple, like "bjobs" > | Has anyone else noticed this? > | -Ian > | >
